Pasha Stevedoring & Terminals Assists in Coke Drum Move

Wednesday, March 20, 2013

To help ensure the continued operation of the Chevron El Segundo Refinery, Chevron is replacing six existing coke drums. The massive new drums traveled 7,330 miles from Spain to the Port of Los Angeles, where the PST team put their skills to the test for the offload. The last 4.5 miles of the trip was along the Pacific Coast Highway to the refinery. The new drums will be installed in the same location within the refinery, replacing the current drums, which are nearing the end of their useful life.
