Pasha Hawaii Fleet Receives 2017 CSA Environmental Achievement Awards

Honolulu, HI-based Pasha Hawaii has announced that all six of its vessels in the Hawaii/Mainland trade were recognized with Certificates of Environmental Achievement by the Chamber of Shipping of America.

Pasha Hawaii’s pure car/truck carrier, the M/V Jean Anne, was honored for 12 consecutive years of environmental excellence from her service entry in 2005, and combination container/roll-on/roll-off vessel M/V Marjorie C was awarded for excellence in her first two years of service.

All four of Pasha Hawaii’s containerships, Horizon EnterpriseHorizon PacificHorizon Reliance, and Horizon Spirit, were each recognized for two years of environmental excellence, following the acquisition and successful integration of Horizon Lines, Inc.’s Hawaii business.

Metcalf, President of CSA. “It should be clear to the American public that we in the maritime industry take our stewardship of the marine environment very seriously. Safe and environmentally responsible operations is a culture fully embraced by the maritime industry as a whole and as evidenced by the performances of the award recipients.”
