On July 12, 2016 Mayor Eric Garcetti and the Port of Los Angeles announced a series of clean air initiatives and clean technology deployments aimed at reducing emissions from the Southern California goods movement industry. The announcement marks the official launch of the Pasha Green Omni Terminal, site of a $26 million real-time demonstration project for zero- and near-zero emission technologies currently being developed at the Port of Los Angeles.
