Rickey Childs

Rickey Childs has over 25 years of experience in the maritime industry. As Senior Vice President of Maritime for The Pasha Group, he oversees the entire stevedoring operations managing both labor and management responsibilities related to cargo handling activities. Mr. Childs also maintains high levels of customer service, optimizes operational efficiency and productivity, and ensures the accomplishment of both operational and financial goals. Joining The Pasha Group in 2022, he began as Vice President of Pasha International where he partnered with key clients to launch a series of dedicated international vessel services supporting an end-to-end transit solution in response to the global supply chain disruption.

Prior to The Pasha Group, Mr. Childs held the position of Vice President of Labor Relations for APL, Ltd part of the CMA/CGM Group, following his roles as General Manager of Eagle Marine Services stevedoring for Los Angeles and Oakland, Director of Operations for Latin America, and Special Project Manager overseeing an international cost saving project that took him to 14 different countries saving the company millions of dollars.

Mr. Childs holds an Executive Master of Science in Transportation with a Concentration in Supply Chain from University of Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from UCLA. He has been appointed to serve as Treasurer on the board of the Propeller Club and actively serves as a mentor for EXP Opportunity Engine, an organization that helps young people gain experience, unlock doors, and build the confidence they need to succeed in school, career, and life.
