Susan Brennan
Susan Brennan brings over three and a half decades of dedicated service and leadership at Levi Strauss & Co., where she demonstrated versatility across various disciplines. Her journey encompassed executive roles in merchandising, marketing, operations, supply chain, business development, and strategy. Susan notably served as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Levi Strauss's mass-market business, overseeing the successful development and distribution of a new brand. In her final role before retirement, Susan served as the Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives and New Business Development, contributing her expertise to shape the company's future endeavors. One of Susan's career highlights involves her pivotal role in developing the Terms of Engagement, a commitment strongly focused on workers' rights and environmental stewardship across the apparel supply chain. This initiative led to significant changes in business practices, reflecting Susan’s dedication to ethical and sustainable business operations.
Currently, Susan actively engages with the nonprofit startup Make It Home, where she devotes the majority of her time. Make It Home's mission is to assist Bay Area families and individuals transitioning out of crisis by recycling, repurposing, and curating gently-used, donated furnishings to transform empty spaces into homes. Susan envisions a future where furniture poverty is eradicated while maintaining a commitment to environmental protection.
